Refund policy

Right of withdrawal (14 days)
You may withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving any reason. For the Annual Catalogue Subscription, this period runs from receipt of the first catalogue.

How to request a return
To withdraw from your purchase, email info@veritas.art with your order number. You may also send a letter to the address below or use the model form provided in the Terms of Service. We will reply with return instructions.

Items must be returned within 14 days of notifying us of your withdrawal to:
VERITAS – Perihasta, Unipessoal Lda.
Avenida Elias Garcia, 157 A/B
1050-099 Lisboa, Portugal

You may also return them to our headquarters, Monday to Friday, 10:00 to 19:00.

Costs and condition of the items
The customer bears the return shipping costs. We recommend using a tracked service and ensuring that the item is well protected. The customer is responsible for any reduction in the item’s value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish its nature and characteristics. For example, a book with signs of use, annotations or damage.

Refunds
We will refund all payments received, including the initial standard shipping charges, within a maximum of 14 days from the date you notify us of your withdrawal. We may withhold the refund until we receive the items or you provide proof that you have returned them. The refund is made using the same payment method used for the purchase, at no cost to you. Your bank may take a few days to make the funds available.

Damaged, defective or incorrect items
Please check your order when it arrives. If an item arrives damaged or defective, or does not match what you ordered, contact us at info@veritas.art, preferably with photographs. In these cases, we bear the return costs and will arrange a replacement or refund. All items are covered by a statutory conformity guarantee of 3 years.

Exchanges
To exchange an item, return it following the steps above and place a new order.
